Raised in the Welsh countryside, Brydie grew up surrounded by creativity, nature, movement, and play.
What began as a way of being has, through life’s challenges, evolved into a toolkit for resilience, connection, and joy.
Brydie was an athlete in her young life, competing in cross country and track events across the country.
When life’s stressors began to show up in her later teens, she turned to meditation as a practical way to mitigate anxiety and stress.
This evolved to include the physical practice of yoga and functional movement, which she then trained professionally in from 2011.
,
Since then, she has taught classes, workshops and teacher trainings globally — launching Body Medicine® in 2021 after recognizing, in the wake of the pandemic, the urgent need for a more integrative approach to movement and wellbeing to meet these times.
This integrated, individualised approach makes Body Medicine® accessible to every body.
With a background as a yoga teacher and trainer, functional movement practitioner, facilitator, and curator of inclusive gatherings, Brydie brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her teaching.
She is committed to holding inclusive spaces where individuals can gather, share, and support one another — fostering belonging, authenticity, and growth.
In Body Medicine®, the body is seen as a vessel of wisdom - DRAWING UPON NATURAL PRIMAL MOVEMENT AND THE MOST RECENT NEURO/PHYSICAL SCIENCE.
Brydie’s true aim is to empower you to embrace all aspects of yourself, navigate life with resilience and joy, and discover strength and freedom through the foundation of your own body.
